I want to help you find a natural balance to self care.
  • Do you take time for yourself away from your kids, spouse, work and school?
  • Do you make appointments for hair cuts, manicures or massages to feel good about yourself?
 
If you answered yes to the above questions, you know what it means to take care of yourself. Individual therapy may be something you are familiar with as self care.
 
If you answered no, it might be important for you to think about ways to take care of yourself.  It is natural for us to take care of others, but often unnatural to find time to take care of ourselves.
 
I believe self care is very important to maintaining a healthy balance in life. Counseling is one type of self care. It is a much needed self care to get you back on track when life does not feel right. It is a natural self care to help discover a path of self fullfillment and to maintain positive relationships with others.  It is a time for self discoveries when you are feeling emotionally out of balance or overly stressed in your current situation. I believe individual counseling can help you get yourself back in a direction that will make you feel good about yourself.
